I’m in 101 Woonideeën!
It’s always nice to hear that people are inspired by my blog or Pinterest page. Especially when it’s mentioned in a magazine! This month I’m in an article in 101 Woonideeën. It’s about The Pin Gallery, a pop-up exhibition inspired by Pinterest, organized by Joëlle Wehkamp from Studio Sjoesjoe. I’m mentioned twice as a favorite pinner of Studio Sjoesjoe and Monique van der Vlist (art director 101 Woonideeën). How cool is that?!
A new season, new opportunities and challenges. Last week I started with a new job as a brand designer for several fabric brands. I’m still in the same company but now working at the marketing department. I’m curious what this job will bring me!
Yesterday I visited the woonbeurs in Amsterdam. It’s a design fair with mostly Dutch brands and interior magazines. I saw a lot of pastels combined with fluor accents and there were botanical influences like plants and flowers in wallpaper, beddings and fabric prints.
I want to live here…
Because this floor is perfect with the color blocked kitchen.

Spoon & Fork
These wooden eating utensils are designed by Marije Vogelzang (PROEF), a Dutch food designer. The tools allow users to taste the flavors of things they cannot or would not want to actually consume. And beside that they are beautiful!

My Etsy shop!
You might be thinking why it is so quiet on my blog the last days. Well, actually I was working on something great: my own Etsy shop! I’m so happy that I can show my art prints on Etsy now. I hope you’ll like it too, take a look here.

Thailand trip * Crafts in Chang Mai
Chang Mai is the place to be in Thailand if you want to shop handmade products. Here you can buy the most beautiful fabrics with embroidered or woven patterns in wonderful colors. As a textile junky you’ll understand that I really liked it in Chang Mai!
Thailand trip * Bangkok
Hi guys, I’m back from a beautiful trip in Thailand. It was amazing. We did a backpack tour from Bangkok to the north and then to the sunny islands in the south. In the following days I will show you some photos of the trip. First Bangkok: a city with buddhist temples, nice food markets and a lot of tuk-tuks!
Adventure is waiting
I’m going on a trip to far far away! Bags are packed and tonight I will fly around the world. Because of this adventure there won’t be fresh posts on my blog during the following weeks. Early september I’m back and you will see what I have been up to. In the meanwhile you can order this nice 'Adventure is waiting' -print in my Society6 shop!
